It is an eight-digit Unique Identification Number allotted to all directors. It has lifetime validity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What is DPIN?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>DPIN refers to a Designated Partner Identification Number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A designated partner of an LLP is eligible to obtain designated partner identification number DPIN. DPIN cannot be obtained for legal artificial entities like\u00a0Companies, OPC, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>DIR 6 -Process of filing Form<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The details are required to be provided in the form are the following.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Select the types of change made in the form as mentioned below:<\/li><li>Name of director\/ designated partners<\/li><li>Date of birth<\/li><li>Voters Identity card number Driving license<\/li><li>Email ID\/ Mobile<\/li><li>Photograph of Director\/ Designated Partner<\/li><li>Aadhaar number<\/li><li>Father\u2019s Name<\/li><li>Gender<\/li><li>Passport Number<\/li><li>Permanent residential address<\/li><li>Present residential address<\/li><li>Residential Status<\/li><li>Nationality<\/li><li>Driving license number<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The respective fields get enabled on the basis of the option selected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The mobile number and email ID is compulsory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Attachment to the form:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>PAN card copy<\/li><li>Depending upon the field selected in point 2 the supporting document is required to be attached.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The documents should be attested by the Chartered Accountant or the Company Secretary or the Cost Accountant, in whole-time practice and shall also contain self-attestation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Form should be digitally certified by a chartered accountant or cost accountant or company secretary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The following are the attachments that need to be mandatorily filed in all cases:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Proof of change in particulars<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Proof of Identity of director\/ designated partner<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Passport is a mandatory requirement for proof in the case of foreign nationals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Form DIR-6- Intimation of any change in particulars of Director to the Central Government<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>E-Form DIR-6 is required to be filed pursuant to Rule 12 of the Companies Rules, 2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The time limit for filing: Within 30 days of the change in particulars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Any change(s) in particulars stated in eForm DIR-3 shall be intimated to the MCA with a period of 30 days by a director having an approved DIN.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In DIR&#8211;6\u00a0is the details to be filed about the changes made in any information that DIN\/DPIN contains.\u00a0 For Example Changes in the Director&#8217;s Name, Address, Email-ID, Phone number, Appearance, Nationality, Educational Qualification,\u00a0 Gender, etc. What is DIN?
